Better music on SGU

why joel goldsmith has basically reinvented himself and the results have been awesome

why do you dislike the music so much? what would be your honest preference? music brings out the emotions in scenes and adds to epic moments

I've thought the music on the show has been amazingly epic. Even some of the comtemporary music has been decent and used very well. (i.e. 'Breathe' in Air, Part III; the opening of Divided with Chloe dreaming) But yeah, Joel's scores have been amazing, and in my humble opinion, his best work ever for the Stargate franchise.

Sorry. I dont wish to critic anyones music preference. I was not refering to the instrumental music themes played during the scenes, only the occasional rock genre type.

Better music is a matter of opinion, anyways.

So far I've been pretty happy with the songs they've chosen. Although I'd like to hear more Joel's soundtrack.
