                Way I look at it is, think of Voyager it was so much better with Seven of 9 in it rather than Kes, Im not against an Alien joining the main cast. However I think some kind of lost Ancient or Asgard would be a great addition. Although why we would find a faction of either race out there would need a good cover!

                  A new aliens addition is good if the character is good. Either it be his perception of reality and morality that is different than us humans. Or he got an interesting storylines like having ulterior motives, or is related to everybody in the Destiny's part of the universe, etc.

                    Teal'c was great. Todd was great. Teyla, essentially human, was boring beyond belief.

                                I think this guy and Stargate were created around the same time. Any cats on Destiny? Maybe the crew needs a little alien comic relief.
