Seriously, can't they call a spade a spade, rather than an imagination-based eathworks actualiser?

My only issue is, when both Eureka and W13 dragged into the Fall season on Tuesday their eps sank by a significant amount and both times they were seasons finales ,which makes them more attractive to viewership. So, it is a concern.

Eureka had a couple of eps running in the fall season at one time, and it hurt them.

Was going to add that, all 3 shows have not shown impressive numbers as of late. Friday has just become dead. The entire network is down. So SyFY needs to make changes. Cancelling programs is not always the best way, imo.
Why so? Is it other shows? Is it that people go out?

The major networks don't usually see big numbers on Friday. Maybe like 7 or 8 Million viewers for the top shows. During the week (M-Th) some shows can see over 20 Million viewers.

It's not other shows, people just don't watch as much on Friday than they do on other nights.

I like SGU right where it is. Gives me a reason to look forward to Friday nights. Maybe I should take up partying and drinking on Fridays now.

SyFy could be blamed for any increase in alcohol-related incidents on Friday nights.

And you bet I'll be pointing the finger when I get pulled over after spending 6 hours in a bar drinking on a Friday. Lol.

I don't know, Friday used to be HUGE. But now some consider it a death sentence for a show.
