Funny, but I'd compare it more to when Roslin stood against Adama at the end of season 1, and we all know what he ended up doing to her... The civilians already held power in BSG, Zarek wanted the mutiny for completely selfish reasons. The SGU mutiny was more justified IMO, and if Young had tried to 'make an example' of Wray he would have alienated a lot more people. "We need to find a way to work together' is a very fair response to the events IMO.

I didn't want him to kill Gaeta but I could see it had to be done. I could never be mad at Adama. And there is no contest between Adama and Young. Adama defended an entire people. Young wouldn't last one second against the Cylons or his people would shoot him soon enough to escape the constant yelling and moronic decisions.
