I hope SGU gets promoted to hell! Since it's airing in Fall now, it will have to compete with the other big shows out there. Plus, they want to draw in more viewers for this show. And since many of SciFi's other major shows are done, I think SGU will become SciFi's big show, sine they're putting more money (and effort, it seems) into it.

Why wouldn't they? SGU's going to be their flagship show. It's ALL they have left now.

In answer to the original subject question: Why wouldn't they promote Stargate Universe? It's a new series! They may not have promoted the heck out of Atlantis' fifth season, but they sure promoted it leading up to and through its first.Comment

They used to promote SG... when it was their only successful series. Then once they got BSG, which btw is produced by NBC Universal who owns Scifi, then they forgot about SG and only advertised BSG.
And is Eureka produced by NBC Universal? Cause it seems like the advertise a lot for that too.
