You don't get to decide what constitutes a fan.

In my case, I would love to see Nicole de Boer continue her role of Dr. Alison Porter in the new series as a series regular!

Sure, she'd be great - but didn't you get the memo? She's waaay too old.

Every real Stargate fan would not 'diss' SGU. You would have loved the news of a new series if it were not coupled with the sad demise of the SGA TV series.

Alas, this is what we were dealt and we just try to make the best of it.

We've only seen Nicole DeBoer play "Dr. Porter" for one episode. That's not enough for me to want to see more. If she's in Universe, cool. If not... oh well.
