Of course, here in Australia we only have the extended premier so far"Most people who are watching TV are semi-catatonic. They're not fully alive." - U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Batten Sr.
Ronald Greer is also a medic. Your argument is invalid.

Furthermore, it would have been incredibly difficult to accomplish this. There would have to be multiple redundant repair systems, each with their own independent power supply, spread throughout the ship. Each with the ability to basically rebuild Destiny from scratch. I can only assume the systems were not destroyed, as upkeep of the repair systems would be the number one priority of the repair systems. I suspect a computer virus has partial control of the ship, or something like that.

Originally posted by Coronach View PostWhile you make some interesting points further on, your argument really stops here. Destiny was not intended to be a long-term unmanned mission. They had planned to send people to it eventually, but they just never got around to it. As such, it's not necessarily the case that the ship would have had to have that elaborate of a self-repair system. At least not one as elaborate as you have described.

With unlimited power, the ship just kept going. Get over it already.

The ship DOES have repair systems, such as that droid thingy, but it was meant to be activated by someone, as it was never meant to be an unmanned mission.
