Gorgeous layout! The titles for the yet-to-be-released Kinosodes are most intriguing.

So... that's Scott, Wray, and Chloe in the background? Blast my evil graphics card...

            Totally!
Of course, here in Australia we only have the extended premier so far

Ronald Greer is also a medic. Your argument is invalid.

I do not buy it. Destiny was launched on a million year unmanned mission; that makes repair THE most crucial system. Destiny simply cannot exist for very long without a functioning self repair system. You have to assume that it is impossible for this system to fail, or be destroyed, or run out of resources, without specific intent. Therefore, the only logical conclusion is that sometime recently (within the past few decades or centuries at the most), someone boarded that ship and figured out a way to deactivate that system. It may not be the blue aliens, but someone did it, and they are the most likely culprit.

Furthermore, it would have been incredibly difficult to accomplish this. There would have to be multiple redundant repair systems, each with their own independent power supply, spread throughout the ship. Each with the ability to basically rebuild Destiny from scratch. I can only assume the systems were not destroyed, as upkeep of the repair systems would be the number one priority of the repair systems. I suspect a computer virus has partial control of the ship, or something like that.

And precisely why region free DVD players are the way to go.

While you make some interesting points further on, your argument really stops here. Destiny was not intended to be a long-term unmanned mission. They had planned to send people to it eventually, but they just never got around to it. As such, it's not necessarily the case that the ship would have had to have that elaborate of a self-repair system. At least not one as elaborate as you have described.

Then that makes the odds of Destiny still being operational infinitesimally small, beyond the realm of possibility. Like someone hitting all 20 numbers in keno. That is too big a plot hole to overlook. //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keno#Detailed_mathematical_analysis

That's why its called science FICTION. One is supposed to suspend one's belief while watching the show.

Why the frak are the gates working? Why is any of the Ancient tech, such as the Dakara weapon(before it went kaboom, that is) still working? It's Ancient and that's it. We're supposed to accept is as fact. The ship DOES have repair systems, such as that droid thingy, but it was meant to be activated by someone, as it was never meant to be an unmanned mission.

With unlimited power, the ship just kept going. Get over it already.
