"Stargate Universe" Discussion/Speculation (Spoilers)

Due to the inclusion of Robert Knepper in the cast, I believe that the producers have foreshadowed the inclusion of greater amount of sex scenes in upcoming episodes. Y'know, since knepper is the danish word for ****ing, frakking, etc.

I am watching the first season SGU and I find it not as good as the other Stargate series. Does anyone else feel that way?

General consensus seems to be that it gets better in the second half of season one. Personally I think, except for one or two episodes in the first half, they were equally as good. I also think it's too soon to compare SGU to the other series (SG1 and SGA) for me, 'cause they had respectively, ten and five seasons. I certainly like SGU, and there's certainly a lot of potential for me. And as Brian said, it's a good show, and so I like watching it.

I think it's pointless comparing them because it's purely a question of taste. Personally, I enjoy all three for different reasons - they all have their strengths and weaknesses, but what those are is entirely subjective.
