I do love this episode!

Ohhh, a massive low point in the show's history. It's not bad in the way that 'Hathor' was, but it's just so painfully uninteresting. Plus, the damn horrible alien people are like freakin' mimes! And theres loads of them! Eugh [shudder]. They are absolutely torture to watch!

The Jack/Daniel interaction here is good fun, though. And Daniel's UAV impression made me laugh.

There is something of great importance here, though:
Teal'c's first "indeed!"

One thing i liked about this one....truly unique aliens. Not just terraformed trees that look like vancouver. really alien out of the box differentness.

I thought it was a pretty good episode.

Jack and Daniel, arguing, like an old married couple.

Not one of my favorite episodes, but it's a good one that shows how much sg1 can effect a planet and how a planet can effect them just by being there. I think the highlight of the episode was Daniel mimicking the UAV!

nice episode. meeting some weird exotic race it was something different.
gave me a feeling that space is truly vast. Really liked the set and music, it created that alien atmosphere.

5pm and another ep of SG1...

1. Forgot the village was so far from the Gate...

2. Forgot about Teal'c getting sick.

3. The noises the aliens were making were very wierd.

Other than that...meh.

Thier is a love hate relationship with this episode

I hate the long time devoted to Daniel learning to communicate with primitive aliens. But I love the medical mystery of the planet and how the weird noise affects SG1. Overall the medical outweighs the negative aspect as the mystery had multiple layers as we find out the symbotic relationship the aliens have with the planet and how the aliens have an unusual sound we don't normally see on Earth.

Even watching this episode at 1.5x speed it's still too slow.

I'm never going to like this one.

Probably my favorited lines in the whole ep. (funny...because it's TRUE).

And then there's the Infirmary scene:

: I know. It's obvious there's something…
: …wrong with us.
(together): Physically.
[Frasier walks in cheerily.]
FRAISER: Well, there's nothing wrong with you.

(this is almost a documentary on how men apologize...my apologies to the men on the thread)

Other than that, not an ep I particularly care for...

A very average episode, the obvious highlight being Daniel and Jack's argument, topped off by Daniels stomping. I sort of liked the aliens though.
