First time i saw this Ep i was like OMG ASGARD!?? woot!, then everytime i saw an epsiode with the Asgard in it i'd get all excited lol , And did you notice they used their Silencer's in this episode but bearly in any other episodes ?

the action would be less dramatic if all their guns make a soft "tic" when the fire them

Of all the ship designs in Stargate, the Asgard definitely were the ones I liked the most. The Beliskner-class may not have been as sleek as the O'Neill-class but I loved the hammer design.

True. Even afterwards, we didn't really see the O'Neill battlecruisers in action very often.

I thought this was a really cool episode just for the fact we got to see the Asgard and and Asgard ship. I'm really looking forward to see what Sam can do with those 2 new toys she picked up. I hope they show some of that. The introduction of Ra and Hathor's son was nice too.

Ok...Just watched this again. They had been to Cimmeria in Thors hammer (season1)...but I noticed in this episode that they knew Thor's race was Asgard. When did they figure that out?

The beam that came out of thor's ship is different then the normal Asgard transporter... I wonder what it is.

YES; in this ep we get this n a another type o Asgard transportation beam, which seemed to dematerialize n materialize it's deisgnated transport objects horizontally rather than vertically; perhaps the horizontal ones r older ones
