    Also I think it would have been good to make it in "Bad Guys" (which I just watched on youtube)

      even if it does come up in a future plot (possibly in the movie where a wire needs to be cut to defeat the ori? anticlimatic, but hey, it would do) it may not be relevant advice. it was an alternate mitchell - in an alternate dimension. as such, it could be another wire (or whatever it is that needs cut) than the green one. in which case, if mitchell does cut the green one, he may well be condemning us all


      or maybe alter-mitch told him the green one cuz in his own 'verse that was the wrong one, and he hopes for a mistake to be made in our 'verse, but instead it turns out to be the correct advice

          I was thinking the same thing. How do we know that was the "right" wire considering the source.

                It could be in the season finale. They get stuck in some time dialation ship and they live out thier lives but some how they come back to normal time with the same age that they had in the begining of the episode. The machine may have wires...get were I am going with this?
