200th SG-1 Episode A Movie Length Feature?

Whispers from the corridor of power in Vancouver tell us that the 200th episode of Stargate SG-1 will be a blockbuster movie length feature, our mail has it that some old faces will be returning for the one off episode, these are the same whispers who told us in DEC04 about Teryl Rothery returning for a one off episode.

IF that is true, it would be FANTASTIC.

a) because hopefully it means it will be a serious action packed adventure, unlike Wormhole X-Treme!

b) it may mean we get 21 hours of Stargate instead if 20 next year.

Hope this is confirmed. Also hope Jack returns (with a SIGNIFICANT role, rather than just a cameo.

Next challenge ... avoid as many spoilers for it as possible!

If this is true I certainly hope it means they spend some meaningful time on the BIG 3 and don't wallpaper them as they have been since they are the 3 main reasons (plus Jack of course) that the show has lasted 200 episodes and I dearly hope they don't come up with some dreck that rivals WE which was a very sad entry for such a milestone as the 100th episode, IMO, of course. WE was the worst example of PTB patting themselves on the back and negating those that really are the draw for the show -- it was self-aggrandizing personified, again IMO of course.

I agree that filler would be bad, but I hope that TPTB produce a great story that is connected well. Imagine what Ripple Effect could have been if the deleted scenes had been left in. I would like to see the 200th episode feel like a mini-movie in that it may reference past events and establish future canon, but it also needs to be an experience in and of itself (More so than an episode). At the end of it, I should not feel like "That's nice. Now what's happening on SGA this week?" I want it to be unit, similar to the original pilot.

if it really is going to be a real Long episode then there will deal with a great number of things it might as well be the 2nd movie that lost city was supposed to be
