200th episode preview discussion big spoilers

the writers have apparently been discussing some crazy ideas for the 200th ep. any1 have any suggestions? i personally want a comedy episode like window of oppotunity, or bring back apophis somehow (to please all the hardcore fans). esp if rda would appear in it.

200th SG-1 Episode A Movie Length Feature?

Whispers from the corridor of power in Vancouver tell us that the 200th episode of Stargate SG-1 will be a blockbuster movie length feature, our mail has it that some old faces will be returning for the one off episode, these are the same whispers who told us in DEC04 about Teryl Rothery returning for a one off episode.

200th SG-1 Episode A Movie Length Feature?

Whispers from the corridor of power in Vancouver tell us that the 200th episode of Stargate SG-1 will be a blockbuster movie length feature, our mail has it that some old faces will be returning for the one off episode, these are the same whispers who told us in DEC04 about Teryl Rothery returning for a one off episode.

I hope it's true because that would be a great idea and for the icing on the top lets see Jack and what he has been up to (aside from seeing Sam! Sorry non shippers)
I keep telling myself each week that it must be somthing big because there is so very little about what he's doing.

Well, if it's true, I sure as heck it's a good dramatic/action/adventure 90 minutes rather than the ego-boosting semi-comedic Wormhole X-treme episode (no, I was not a fan of it at all).

Obviously it's gonna be longer than "Threads". "Threads" was nowhere near feature film length. Neither are double episodes such as "Lost City". Because feature film length is measured by the length of the movie, not the length of the movie + commercial breaks.

Standard movie = 90 minutes
Standard episode of SG-1 = 42 minutes (including intro and credits)

So maybe they'll just make a double lenght episode

DarthNick, episode 6 of S10, so about August in USA and November in UK. I reckon it will be about 1hour 30 with commercials and class it as "movie length" so thats the same as threads, actual episode time (no commercials) 1 hour
