Actually we built the basic pomtheous ourselves we even got a nearly operational hyperdirive,but it was a really pimative design but showing that we could create a basic one on our own allow the asguard to give their hyperdrive tech to use without breaking the protective planet treaty.

Carter should use the ribbon device as part of her usual gear up, and use the goa'uld healing device as well.
It would provide a good deal of survivability in the field for the team, and we can't build those ourselfs anyway. Heck with mot goa'uld gones, one can probable buy those things on the black market in the galaxy.
