S10: nostalgia, new viewers & the progression of SG1

I've not seen anyone who likes Sg1 but hates Atlantis. I've seen some who don't like it, but that's a far cry from the hate I sense from some of the Atlantis guys against sg1. And these are people who didn't watch sg1 ever- just caught a few episodes when Atlantis started. And somehow that leads to hate- I dunno why. Maybe because they don't want crossovers with a show with so much background, since it would make Atlantis appear more like the child show and a spin-off.

I dunno, I don't care. I'm just wondering how not watching a show can lead to hate.

Sorry to tell them, but Atlantis is the "child show". Without SG-1, there never would have been any SGA. And if they "hate" SG-1 without even really watching it, it's their loss IMO.

I second your indeed! I couldn't agree with you more! This show does kick some serious a** and will for quite some time IMO. Stargate has a lot of life left.

I am totally pro season 10 but there is nothing wrong with showing a little class. What would really make them mad is if the majority of us could actually put up a good debate. I see allot of people who give the pro season 10 fans a bad name and that is a shame. I encourage all the pro season 10 fans to open threads that have solid foundation and don't post pointless posts with no backing make every post count.
