Bowing out of the thread for the second night in a row is quite strange, but it's been fun to have 48-Hour Ship Day!

I have loved seeing all of the lovely artworks, reading all of the fanfics, and welcoming back shippers who haven't been on the forum in awhile (this is my first Ship Day back after being AWOL for a couple years, so no judgement! I just love seeing you all! )

I'm so thankful for each and every one of you. The Shippers have always been talented, insightful, and welcoming, and it's been such a pleasure to know you all (even if I don't know your names or faces!).

I love that we are still being brought together by our mutual enjoyment of a show that ended nearly a decade ago and of a couple that never received their confirmation onscreen.

And so, I have nothing new to bring to the table, but I thought it appropriate to post a short fanfic of mine that touches on Sam and Jack's lives in 2015. I wrote it back in February for the 10th anniversary of the airing of "Threads," but it's still pretty relevant. The theme was "Family," so I think that it's duly appropriate to share it with people who have become my Online Ship Family.
