Sam Carter/Jack O'Neill Ship Appreciation Thread

Okay, so I was just browsing on the Sam thread and read something of interest.

To get you up to speed, the people over there are talking about Sam's character guest-starring on Eureka, as she is brilliant and would fit fantastically over there.

Then, someone else pointed out that the sheriff's name was Jack Carter and they could be cousins.

However, as my brain is extremely twisted... I saw irony in that.

Then again, maybe's its just my brain at 1:45 in the morning.

So yeah.

While I was browsing through Jack/Sam images, I found this and it reminded me of the multiple scenes in which Jack wants Sam to hook the Stagate up as a television.

Gaah... I need FFN back up. I never realized how much I miss my stories!! I have an urge to go back and read all 40 something chapters of "A Hint to the Powers to Be"... I always find myself in a good mood after reading those, as they make me believe more strongly that Sam and Jack ARE currently in a realationship...

OMG! I so sad. He did crazy things but my kids loved to watch him. So young, that such a same. His poor father and wife!

Yeah...Terri was/is treking Cradle mountain in Tasmania...she found out a short time ago...communication is difficult out there...not sure where the kids are...assuming they're at home with Steve's parents.

Wow, the name totally escaped me, and I like the idea of Amanda and maybe others from the show doing a part or two on EUREKA. Suggestions were steering away from Amanda as another scientist, though.

I m a little upset tho, it says there is meant to be audio commentary and i was going to watch Point of View with it, and i couldnt find commentary anywhere, must be just on specific eps! Grrrr

i havent seen Eureka and we dont have it in Aust
altho Eureka to me sounds very australian reminds me of the Eureka Stockade (aussie history)

I've thought of that, as well. It's impossible to hear Jack and Carter in the same sentence without thinking shippy thoughts.

i guess one of the writers from Eureka likes sg1, dedicating a character to two of the best characters on tv, knowing that their names together has as much beauty and love as Samantha O'Neill does...etc etc
