I was just reading about RDA coming back and the promise of more ship. Isn't anyone else worried about the possible time travel storyline. Could we end up with another Moebius?? This could all be one big tease....

I don't think they are going to tease the shipper anymore. I think they know we have been pushed to the wall and to push us any more would make some large explosion from our numbers.

No Buts.......We have the fuse and they are the matches. They want to play with fire for kicks, I hate to see the fallout. They lost a lot this year from what I'm hearing from the background, so I think this year is going to be a lot of emergency clean up, to get the old fans back again.

Dang! We got hit again! Sorry for the OT post, but I thought some of you might be wondering about me again. Another day of tornadoes, less than a week after the last ones. The damage was much closer to home this time: 8 dead about 40 miles north of me, 3 more dead about 40 miles to my east. All ok where I am.....but it's 1:27am and I've just gotten home from 16 hours at work.

Hope the rest of you are fine.....and I hope to be back later today.

Uh...Yeah we are talking about TPTB aren't we? They so mean to us shippers I wouldn't doubt it if they did something that totally screwed everything up. I was pretty upset about s8 finale it really didn't do it for me and I hope they give me some closure....


Screw that I'm going to be in DENIAL forever. Their together already with 2.5 kids.

In answer to your questions Gwen:

Yes, Jack definitely says I love you to Sam in TBTGOG - noticed that the first time I saw it and grinned my head off!

ITF hug - I think Jack was more than just cold - as Sam had more than just a headache I think it's one of those moments that we keep asking for / love reading in ff's. Jack had just escaped being Goa'ulded, then Hathor's about to kill Sam with the hand device when Jack comes to and throws her into the cryo... *gropes for word* ...pit. It's one those "Thank goodness you're alive and OK" moments where they hug and don't want to let go - just like the Heroes hug. But they're still officers in the same chain of command, and they have a job to do. They just discuss it while hugging

Now the ancient "I love you" question - funny you should ask about that I'll have to go hunting, but we had a huge discussion about that a while back and I looked up the translations. I go dig it out in just a mo.

Hey, thanks for having looked up those translations!

I think the 'Dormata" was more just a direction to put him in the machine he had named earlier.

But I've always thought that "Aveo Amacuse" was "Goodbye....my love." Good to see that my interpretation has some basis in actual fact.
