Actually, my thoughts were with Sam & Jack on Valentine's Day. I was watching one of the many music channels, which we have on digital TV here in the UK. They were playing the top 100 most romantic songs-or something like that-and viewers dedications to their valentines were running across the bottom of the screen. I couldn't believe it when I saw 'Jack loves Sam-Always'. We of course know that it is true in the Stargate universe but it was more than a little strange to see it completely out of context like that! I wonder if that 'Jack and Sam' are anything like 'ours'...?

I read something in the paper this morning that I thought was appropriate for some of season 9. The article was about how General Hospital has gone to the dogs, and the writer described the current season as "a cry of desperation from the writers. It translates as: "We got nothing. Please fire us. We are totally out of ideas.""

Now I was criticized recently for sounding too negative about season 9, and I'm not out to ruin anyone's day, but I thought this was funny. The first thing I thought about when I read that was Chimera! And then Affinity immediately came to mind! That statement sums up those two episodes better than anything I've heard yet. heehee!
