See, it's not just in our heads!!

Interesting spoilers about "Unending." Haven't heard anything about that last one before.

The way CB talks about Vala's scenes with Daniel in "Unending," it doesn't seem like a negative thing. It sounds more like he doesn't let her just rest on her laurels...which is why he's been (usually) so good for Vala's character. He really has helped her grow and mature. He doesn't take her excuses and BS...and he doesn't let her joke her way out of things. That's one of the reasons why I really enjoy their dynamic. He makes her deal with her issues while she ignites a spark in him. He comes alive when he's around her.

It'll be slow around here without you guys. Without you, it'll probably just be Kales and I rambling back and forth about random stuff

Although, with the US season starting in April, maybe all of these missing shippers will begin to reappear

*sigh*What am I going to do without my weekly dose of Daniel/Vala? I'm so excited about these last two episodes....but I don't want it to end!!! Two DVDs a year are not enough! We may get a scene or two, but nothing as good as we get during the span of a season. Ah! If only I hadn't given up and turned my back on SGA (although, I'd argue that they turned their back on me and all of the other fans first). Now what am I supposed to obsess over?!

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much Kales, now (if possible) I'm even more excited about these episodes then ever before. AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I can't believe Claudia said that. Now we have Michal and Claudia saying great stuff about Unending, I'm just hoping that when they say...

And don't worry, I'll still post like crazy whenever I can. Still got a lot of stuff to move yet, so that means I'll be back around internet very often, he he. On the plus side, the park behind our new place has SWINGS!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh how I love swings.

And you 2 can handle things. At least I'll have more spare time for vids and fics and what not, so every time I do post I'll hopefully have something good.

I spoke too soon I thought I wasn't going to have internet for a few days at least but I was wrong I have never been so happy to be wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!l LoL Great work Kales thanks for the detective work and research. I am happy that I think we will get our ship canon.

So the way I'm hearing the sarcasm in the office conversation being intrepretated as being Daniel saying 'like you haven't slid back into your old ways and not been given a second chance'...is that right?
Okay, works for me...and I do have to admit that except for that usual look of disgust on his face when she picks the lock I do recall the rest of the scene in the apartment as being okay.
Thanks so much for the article excerpts Kales...I had read them before as a link off of CB's thread but that was so long ago I had no idea how to find the link again. I believe tho the comment about the trees is referring to the scene in Quest I, where they are going thru the time dilation field and Vala makes a comment about why are the tree leaves moving and someone(I think Sam)says it's probably been done by Morgan to make the area look normal.

Now could someone explain to me the properties of a time dilation field because I'm really confused.
In Quest I, the time dilation field makes everything slow down in relation to real time....In Unending time in the time dilation field will have to speed up so that the team lives thru 50 years faster than normal...that's how it should work right?...'cuz if the field in Uending works like the one in Quest I, then by the time they get out of the field, something like 100 years will have passed in real time

As for the time dilation thing....I am by no means an expert...but I'd just assume that a time dilation field means that the time within the field is different somehow from the time outside the field. If that's the case, then time within the field could pass slower or faster than regular time. So, in this case, maybe it passes quicker. Just my interpretation....although I could be completely off on this.

well I doubt we're gonna see any...um...actual physical interaction beyond maybe an embrace like MM and of course that kiss.

yeah, I looked up 'dilation' in dictionary, just means something getting wider...so I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it's explained.

They came pretty close a couple of times...Jack in Season 1, Brief Candle and Sam/Pete in Chimera. I think that is about it.

Okay, not that I knew that off the top of my head or anything *sinks into chair* LOL

I live my life in the gutter so I am always thinking this way...hehehe I think I said it before..

I think the closest was Sam/Pete in Chimera. I'd be quite happy seeing Daniel and Vala in the same circumstances...the lead up to and then the next morning or whatever time of day etc. I'd also be happy for 'Continuum' to simply see them sharing the same bed...you know one of them pushing the other out of bed because they have briefing etc...that would be fine. And if there are further DVDs that CB didn't want to/or couldn't take part in then I'd just be happy with Vala being mentioned and Daniel never being paired with anyone again....maybe even letting him wear his own wedding ring,lol
