Sam Carter /Jack O'Neill Ship Appreciation Thread 2.0
Eh. I was waiting to vote, hoping that someone would come and analyze these two episodes so that I could decide.
I'm really not a fan of either, but if I had to choose which episode to watch, I'd choose "Gamekeeper" because it was an interesting premise and Sam and Jack actually... kind of... sort of... acknowledge? each other in that one?
And I like the moment when Sam hands Jack his gun and he says, "Thank you, ma'am!"

I'm voting for Beast of Burden, because as someone else said when it was previously up for vote, Jack and Daniel were paired with each other, and Sam and Teal'c were paired with each other. And when they were even together in any scene, Sam and Jack barely looked at each other, and almost acted as though they were uncomfortable with each other. I think I made a comment that this would have been better placed right after Divide & Conquer instead of a season later, because that would have explained their seeming discomfort around each other. On the other hand, I could be entirely wrong.
I agree with what's been said. Neither episode has much Jack and Sam interaction and neither is a favorite, but I much prefer Gamekeeper to Beast of Burden. At least in Gamekeeper Jack and Sam seem at least cordial with one another. In Beast of Burden they act like they'd rather be anywhere than in one another's presence, and that sour attitude extends to the whole team. And then there are unas. Awful!
