Sam Carter /Jack O'Neill Ship Appreciation Thread 2.0
PickTV? I watched it too Torment of Tantalas (sp?) was on this morning.
Such early ship *sigh*
...have to watch something while I'm full of the cold...
Lol, you know that song that goes "I'm sticking with you coz I'm made out of glue!" ... sooo describes Sam in this ep! She's so eager! And she keeps looking at Jack for reassurance, it's pretty adorable gives me the warm and fuzzies.
Feel better soon, Roque!
Sam and Jack... Still the best romance on TV in years!

Uck...feel better soon. I'm still getting over some kind of ick. Started with my head and sinuses moved to my tummy Yesterday was the first time in 4 days I was able to eat an actual meal. Of course lunch today made me feel icky again...can't win
Hmm...you've got me in the mood for some 1st season SG-1
Over the wekend I re-read A Matter of Honor and am 3/4 of the way through The Cost of Honor. I had every intention of skipping through the books and reading only parts, but damn if they aren't written in such a way as to suck you in!
I was just browsing through Amazon.com wondering if those books were any good. I guess that means I will be buying them now ! Thank you one click buying . And thank you IamDKscully for saving me from reading a non Stargate story. Would have broken my 8 month streak.

"I didn't leave,because I'd have rather died myself,than lose Carter." ~Jack O'Neill

Glad you're feeling better! I don't know if it helps, but we have a "rule" in my family: if you've been sick or injured, eat what sounds good, no matter what it is. It definitely worked with my mom after her knee surgeries, and, generally, you can't go wrong with it.
I live in Texas. It gets cold. Snows even, sometimes just on Christmas. But it also will be 75 one day and ICE the next. But I'll take Bi-Polar weather over having to dig out my car each morning. I remember that. Reminds me of this...digging out a DHD in solid ice.
One last quick reminder... I haven't written mine yet, either, so response(s) may go up a little later than normal. (It feels strange to post only my own work though... Anyway, if there are any other entries, send 'em my way, folks!)
Just a quick reminder... links to your responses for this week's challenge should be PM'd to me by 5:00pm EST (that's 2200 GMT) today (Tuesday) so I can collect them into a master post.
Links can be to a post here on GW or an external site where you may have posted the work. We're not picky!
I used to live in Juneau, Alaska, and the first year we lived there, they had an accumulation over the winter of more than 200" inches of snow. Lots of shoveling and plowing and so forth. The city even ran out of money to plow the snow away.
Well, I did live there, but since I was only 1 or so when we left, I think it goes without saying that I don't remember it...but Upper Michigan is pretty much horrible for snow, too. They even still have snow in June, sometimes! And I used to have a picture of my father's yard in the UP with the calendar on April 4th, and 6 feet of snow on the ground!
