Sam worked so #$@& hard to bring him home! Based on Janet's comments...pulling all-nighters? 4 stupid months and she never gave up! She was so excited when she got there...got to see him again...and the look on her face at the end...
(thanks for sharing AKA...obviously this one does touch a terribly angsty part of my heart...)sigpic

For a long time Hundred Days was my favorite ep because it is so angsty. You see, I used to live deep within the dark cavern of angst, but recently the fluffy clouds have bored a hole through the roof of my cave and I can't deal with the dark anymore.Last edited by hlndncr; 27 June 2011, 07:52 PM.sigpic

I'm live deep in the angst cavern (though I've got a summer home in the fluff clouds) but 100 Days is one episode I just can't stand. My heart just breaks for Sam when Jack walks away from her.sigpic

That whole ep was absolutely a defining moment in Sam/Jack history.
What about Jack agreeing to be experimented on because he didn't want to risk losing her. The same reason he didn't leave Sam when the stupid band fell off.....
..... he couldn't live without her.
Basically that's what he said:
"I'd have rather died myself, than lose Carter."
Could
Not
Live
Without
Her.
Oh the angst people!!!!!!
On another note:
Glad to hear Pol's doing well.

Originally posted by gater62 View PostI seriously wanted to cry when I first saw that scene! My take was Sam wanted Jack to say something to show her that he still cared for her more than he should, and he didn't! My heart literally broke!

And my contribution:
CARTER: I've been sitting in your driveway for the last ten minutes, trying to work up the nerve to come and talk to you.
[O'Neill looks at her, eyebrows raised.]
CARTER: The truth is, I've been trying to work up the nerve for a lot longer than that.
...
[O'Neill, looking slightly uncomfortable, glances into the house.]
O'NEILL: Look, Carter, I don't know what…
CARTER: I'm sorry to bother you with this, but uh, see, there's actually a very good reason that I'm bothering you with this, and if I don't tell you now, I might never…
[The back door opens and Kerry Johnson comes out of the house.]
Angst, angst, angst. Did anybody else think she was going to get to finish that statement the first time you saw it?? SO CLOSE! So darn close...sigpic
