I do not really like the recut version of CotG, I'm a big fan of the earlier stargate episodes so it might have something to do with that

Me too! Even though Sam and Jonas had to pretend to be a couple. Grrrrr. Too bad Sam wasn't needed to "spread the electrical charge thingy" to Jack so he didn't see the interdimensional critters. That would have been a fun scene.

Nope, it's definitely a Colorado plate, not a BC plate. Though they are very close.

I still say it's yet another example of why they should have hired me a fan as prop-advisor.

Well, Sam did have a photo of Jack in her office on Atlantis. (I watched this v. grudgingly because I had to finally watch it. I have a funny story about having no clue who Joe Flanigan was at a joint BSG/Atlantis con a few years ago. My friends never let me forget it. )

I had a lot of fun "plot-bunnies" like this during the Winter Olympics earlier this year! I figured Jack would like all the Winter sports, being from Minnisota... and I could see he and Sam snuggling together to watch them. And for some odd reason, I got a funny idea that Teal'c would like Ice Dancing. No one could talk to him while the pairs skated, he was so engrossed!
