Thanks for the kudos, sg-1 fanintn! Wow, we talk a lot about these two people, don't we?

So much that we broke the old thread! A few weeks before you joined, the mods had to start us a new thread because the old one started losing posts. We were over 10,000 pages at that point. And I believe there was another thread that pre-dated this one before I joined in 2005!!! majorsal or trupi could probably tell us more about that one. So I think there have actually been three S/J ship threads!

But it's incredible to me how many people remain devoted to this pairing...even now that the show has bene off the air for two years, and RDA has been gone from SG-1 for four years. Of course, when you consider the chemistry, it's not surprising at all.

I'm just pleased that new people keep finding us!!! Makes me very happy...

Because I want my confirmation.....

I had a very busy day with getting the kids to school, making a new sig, visiting the orthopaedic doctor, dinner with the husband and kindergarten information night at school. Whew, now I can finally relax and visit the forums. I was almost going through withdrawals.

Pol, keep your chin up girl. You are in my prayers as you battle your back problem. The war isn't over and you seem like a woman with a lot of courage to fight it. Just remember, you have all us here on the thread to help in any way.

I so understand, Keaira Taegan. It is nice to be able to talk to people about the show and definitely about Sam and Jack's relationship over the years without somebody rolling their eyes at you. Yes, my husband does that. He sometimes watches the show with me and can see the "ship" a mile away, but he is just a casual viewer. He does make a good comment now and again. He just isn't you guys. *wipes away the tear*

And you make such a great point, because when I've had trials and tribulations, my Gateworld friends have kept up with me and supported me just like my RL friends and family.

I got an ear infection on our honeymoon. Then when I came back I worked 80 hours straight with no days off... and then I got the flu. It was probably two months into our marriage before we got to do any of the stuff we actually wanted to do

We were married on 15 March. Our son was born on 5 Dec. Do the math... We actually didn't have a Honeymoon though, I was in the military and couldn't take more than a week's leave and needed that to get ready *for* the wedding as it was in the Chicago area and we were stationed in KY.

Yup. That's why I lived in 'Nashville' for a time. John was in Fifth Group before he got out and I was first at the post hospital and then the combat hospital there. John was actually medically discharged before I'd met him and attending community college in KY. When we got married and he transferred down to David Lipscomb we actually lived in while I was still stationed up at Campbell.

i'd like to think somewhere very pretty and warm, and with fishing opportunities for jack and other site seeing things for sam. there's got to be a place with both.
