I always found that less shippy and more condescending. From the look on Sam's face, she did too.

I'd say she's just disgusted with him for his condescending attitude and looking down to try to control her annoyance at him for it.

Yes...and no. Everybody has different opinions of different episodes. I for one despise this episode. Yet, I know that there are people who like it. There are people who are indifferent to it. Everyone has their reasons, which is why these discussions are so interesting.

I don't like it that no one seems to notice the strange behavior of the men until it's too late. I do like it when the few women on base use their wiles to get out of captivity.

I cringe through the first part of the episode, then enjoy the rest where the women get together and organized and take back the mountain. But, seriously, there are fewer than 10 female officers/staff at the SGC? Glad that eventually changed.

I like the idea of the women banding together to save everyone, but I really wish that it had been done differently. Them having to "seduce" the guards is just cringe worthy.

Did the amount of women at the SGC change? As I think through, I honestly cannot remember that many females on base and especially on teams.

It was quite sad to see that only Sam and Doc. Fraiser were the only attractive and capable women at the SGC for some time. I know that it was more "men's world" at the Air Force but there had to be more women later on. It's a pity they didn't show us more

There were a couple of other attractive capable women ("airmen") there besides Sam and Janet. They pretty much took charge of the situation because I'm pretty sure Sam outranked any of the other women there at the time. Plus, Sam is one of the main characters, so they had to have her save the day.

I don't think it matters if they were "attractive," just that they were capable and there!

Now that I think about it though, I wonder where all of the infirmary nurses went...
