Have you sampled Ghirardelli's? From San Francisco? Still can't beat genuine Godiva's by a long shot, but it's pretty darn yummy!

I don't know...I was last summer in the USA and they just let me taste different kinds. Also a few years back my shipper friend came to the Netherlands and we compared chocolates(together with the UK variant). The three of us all decided the belgium one was the best by far and since I got used to that as an average I just don't like the other variants...

I especially remember Hershley or so? Because we ate it on S'mores(sp?) but we quickly switched to my kind Which was YUMMY

btw no personal attack on anyone, I love the USA in general. You gals have the best breakfast foods*drools at the thoughts of Fruitloops or Lucky Charms*

Mom gave me two See's Dark Chocolate Truffles. I feel better now.

I'll admit that I'm not a huge Hershey's fan--but like I said before, Dove is really good. And texture wise, it's often better than the more expensive brands. One chocolate I can't eat is Cadbury--and I don't know why because the rest of my family loves it. It's soooo sweet--and has a flavor that I don't like.

But there are some candy bars that are yummy--and on topic:

A List Of Jack and Sam Approved American Candy Bars:

Snickers (it satisfies you!)
Almond Joy (sometimes you feel like a nut)
Mounds (well, that one's just for Jack)
Milky Way (cause that's where they 'Gate home to)
Mars (okay--so there's no 'Gate there, but it's in space. . .)
3 Musketeers (Only three of the SG-1 team carry guns--Teal'c carries a staff weapon. . .)
Twix (because there are two of Jack and Sam and they are covered in chocolate and packaged together)

Any others? I'm sure I'll think of some to add. . .

True. Cadbury isn't very good...funny enough we talked about chocolate in class(about brand reckognition etc. and teacher used choc as example). First thing that came to mind with us was the brand Milka(you know with the cow) and then the teacher said what about Cadbury(being UK brand and all) ...not many people liked it(Even though it has to do with taste)....it was again explained by levels of cacao etc(which can make a brand unique from the other; taste etc. )
Oh and this was fun to analyze since I'm in an international class and thus the people in it come from all over the globe(Canada, USA, all over Europe, South-Africa, China, Indonesia, Australia, Middle-East etc. )

Ooohhh I love snickers and Milky Way. Yum Yum. Is Bounty also a brand in the USA? That would be cool too since it has cocos(sp?) inside it and it could remind Jack and Sam to that honeymoon where the beaches go on and on (plus it also has two bars in the package)
