I've missed this place!

Why do I have to go to work today?! Why can't I stay here, catch up on a lot of missed sleep and SHIP?!.... stupid bills needing paid.

Hopefully I can have something ready for Ship Day.

OK, so on my quest to get in shape (and watch as many Stargate re-runs as I can) I've devised a plan based on a hilarious movie workout website I found. Here it is:

Stargate Workout!!!

1) When Carter says “Sir”
10 push-ups

2) When Jack says “For Cryin’ Out Loud”
10 sit-ups

3) When Teal’c says “Indeed”
20 squats

4) When Daniel argues about the cultural significance of something/someone
30 second plank

5) Jack makes Sam laugh/smile
10 jumping jacks

6) S/J significant look/moment
20 crunches

7) S/J hug/touching
Plank for 20 seconds

8) When Janet appears
10 shoulder rotations

9) When Jack/Hammond gives an order/shouts at someone
DROP AND GIVE ME 20 (burpees), AIRMAN!

And finally…

10) S/J kiss
Run around the room waving your arms and squeeing!

So I'm back into my pre-season workout phase and figured I would try out Amber's workout routine (and enjoy some SG while I'm at it!).

I did it while watching Emancipation, and ended up doing:
30 jumping jacks
2.5 minutes total plank
80 crunches
40 burpees

I added one rule: 11) whenever Sam or Jack call the other by their first name - do 40 mountain climbers.
(I had to add this because I thought the scene where Jack calls her Samantha warranted something special).

Daniel did a lot of cultural explaining in this episode.

Also, Sam not once called Jack "Sir". And she only called him "Colonel" twice. It's easy to forget how much more open with each other they were in the early seasons.
