    I should probably note that if we choose Nov. 30th for Shipsgiving we need to think about moving Shipmas back, otherwise it will only be two or three weeks later.

      Saturday, November 2nd (1)
      Saturday, November 9th
      Saturday, November 16th (4)
      Saturday, November 23rd
      Saturday, November 30th (4)

      *Nov. 9 & 23 are completely booked for hlndncr; so if either of those dates are selected someone needs to volunteer to take over hosting duties.

        I'm holding off on voting as it makes no difference to me. No idea what I'm working so I can't say what I'd prefer.

              You mean in the S/J Holiday fic list? Might be because it's a busy time of year for Americans, or perhaps because it's the only holiday (aside from Ship Day, which isn't an actual holiday in RL) that's not celebrated worldwide and thus doesn't inspire many non-American/non-Canadian fic writers.

              Considering the number of relatively new shippers in the thread who also happen to write fics we might be able to add quite a few new stories to the list this year!
              Unmade Plans (WIP: 11/20):
              Sam's life takes a turn in an unexpected direction when she's faced with an unplanned pregnancy. The decision to keep the baby and raise it on her own will alter her life forever. Relationships are put to the test, especially the one between her and Jack. She doesn't know what to expect from him and he surprises her at every turn.

                And sometimes it's hard for us Yanks to write stories for Thanksgiving as well. Especially with Shipmas so close to it as well!

                  there's LOTS of kinsey's in the government now!

                  i don't think the sgc would be a part of it, seeing as the risk of 'oops!' is bigger than most.
