I did Vegas, too--but was tongue in cheek about the Elvis thing, Believe it or not, a friend of mine did get married at a drive thru chapel in Vegas by Elvis. But then, she's just kind of like that.

Anyhoo--I think they would have just done it. I think that eight years was long enough to wait, and both of them would have recognized the legal ramifications of them being "official". That's just my opinion.

Now, off to real life. How come i don't live on Abydos where there are 36 hours in the day? Then I could waste even more time!

I like football just in general, the team doesn't matter to me. But I have to be happy about the Saints cuz my daughter's beau is born and bred in New Orleans so he's a very happy fella right now and that makes her happy and that makes me happy. But it was a really good game any way I look at it. If I ignore the massive number of interceptions. And I'll let them slide because Favre was getting the snot knocked out him all night. Poor guy.

Random WI/MN fact

Apparently the WI/MN football rivalry has been taken to the state level as MN ended the state tax reciprocity agreement with WI which basically means instead of them swapping money at the end MN basically said, we want our money now dang you. Soon we will be building a wall between our two states. I'm really only concerned about the dairy issue as I love cheese.

Just an idea for anyone wanting to make an angsty vid for Valenship...or heck, just to make an angsty vid.

I'm not aware of anyone doing this up til now. We're watching the coverage of the U. S. Figure Skating Championships, and the men's champ just skated to the old 80s song by Billy Vera & the Beaters, At This Moment. And I was just thinking how well angsty moments from the S/J relationship would fit that song...especially the ring scene from Affinity.

Because it's ok to revisit that time now...knowing it all worked out well in the end.
