Sam Carter /Jack O'Neill Ship Appreciation Thread 2.0
I just got an email from an editor at The New Yorker who is "big fan of your Stargate fanfiction, which I've been reading voraciously for a while now."
He wants to not only talk to me about my fanfic writing for Stargate, but...QUOTE TWO OF MY STORIES!!! Including something from a Campfire.
WOOT! Way to go Pol! We're all rooting for you! Except that you don't really need it, because, well, you're clearly awesome. And you're a Doctor. Doctor Pol, that's right!
Now that I've typed it, I'm pretty sure Doctor Pol would be a freakin' awesome superhero name.

i guess it would be okay but i remember when my parents got divorce they tried their hardest to stay away from one another. my mother still holds a grudge against him but that's neither here, nor there nor jack/sam related.
Does this mean a potential novelization for the movies?! (I know, still dreaming). CONGRATS
Just a head ups, Fandemonium is up for contract renewal with MGM. Now I know some of you don't like them so I am not telling you to buy, if you don't like. However, if renewed one of our local shipper is up to be published. Not at liberty to say who, but its someone close to our hearts. So if you do like the stories please think of purchasing some of the novels so theres a better chance MGM will renew the contract. Thanks!

"Doc Polly" is alive and well and living in a little fic of mine called, "Passing Time". She's totally a superhero. However, she's not nearly as cool as our own Rock Star Pol. Pol is Pure Epic Fantabulousness.

On a less exciting front, I just received delivery of a case of my favorite gourmet hot chocolates (yes I said case - I LOVE hot chocolate). I just need some biscotties and we're ready for a party!
mmm, hot chocolate, I just love hot chocolate too, If I bring the biscotti, will you let me have a taste?
Party, mmm, yep, I think there is one coming up, Saturday, anyone? Jack, Sam, something about Shipmas?
Can't wait!

I spoke with someone a while back who promised to let me know when Fandemonium was reopening submissions, but despite repeated attempts to recontact her have heard nothing. Kind of bummed about it, 'cause I have a good one lurking.
Hopefully MGM will renew, considering increasing popularity of transmedia content.

From what I understand, it's a company that publishes what equates to professionally written fanfic in book form. The stories are sanctioned by MGM, although whether they are officially part of the Stargate storyline is up for debate.
Edit: faster than a speeding bullet, Pol beat me to it.

Any way to look into that further? There are more than a few Stargate fanfics I'd like to see in book form. Including my own.

Wait...Doc Polly in a fic?! How'd I miss that? *frippen deadlines and teaching load!* I'm missing good stuff!
Edit: And lordy, a 'super suit?' LOL. Please, no spandex. Some of us aren't 20 anymore! LOL.
