Apparently RDA has taken over the title of Lifelong Bachelor. He's been involved with numerous ladies over the years, but apparently is actually afraid of marriage. I read some comments about how nervous he was even during the filming of the fantasy wedding in Ep. 200.

Still, I'd like to see him around on some tv shows or tv movies, preferably of the sci-fi variety!

i wouldn't mind seeing him play a General on the show Falling Skies.

He has the odd guest spot here and there. He was in the TNT show Fairly Legal awhile back. 4 episodes, but I think his scenes in one ep were cut. Though I don't watch it, someone told me he either had been or will be in Raising Hope.

I can't even imagine how stressed they were. It's the one thing their fans have wanted to see and they didn't want to disappoint anyone. Even if it's not canon it's still a special moment We wouldn't have have all those awesome fan vids, art, and even A. Karswyll's pretty wedding invites from shipday

Perhaps it's a bit nitpicky, but if a person mentions more than one show, movie, etc in a sentence, specify which you are referring to when quoting.

I've been sitting here trying to figure out who the heck his daughter played on Fairly Legal, only to finally figure out she was on Raising Hope. Like I said, I don't watch it, so...And my friend isn't an RDA friend, they only mentioned it to me because they know I am, and they probably aren't even aware he has a daughter.

Fanon is essentially the canon established in fanfiction and/or the fandom in general lol.

Well, fanon isn't necessarily specific couples either. It could be an event that is widely believed to have happened, or a new character that a fanfic introduced but that many people have asked permission to use in their own fics cause of how great the character was. The idea of Grace as Sam and Jack's possible future kid is one theory, but the name (and idea) has been used in so many fics it is a type of fanon.

Some shows have fanons that people like so much better than the canon that they forget the fanon hasn't happened lol!! This happens to me with some of the other shows I watch. I like the fanfics better than what TPTB are doing with the shows/characters, so I pretend the show is going the way of the fics lol.


In general I like the idea of Grace as future!kid, but I actually tend to avoid those fics for some reason. I love baby and kid fics, but I don't usually like them as much when they name a daughter Grace. Of course, it could be because I tend to think Sam should be able to explain to Jack why she likes a particular name, and I don't think she'll ever want to go into too much detail about her hallucinations. If the name Grace were the name of her mother, or Jack's mother, or another female person who meant something to one or both of them, I could see it and would probably be fine with it, but I just don't think Sam should pick it out of the blue unless she's willing to tell Jack all about her hallucinations.
