You notice Jack always listen's to Sam? Daniel and Teal'c tell him they can't just leave the head sucky thing, but he only asks for other ideas when Sam says they can't go.

If you just look at the bottom of your screen when SG-1 are coming off the ramp in the gateroom, you can see Sam come up from behind and take Jack's arm as they head off to the infirmary.
