Well...it's about time to remind everyone that Shipmas is less than two weeks away! Here are the invitation, sig and avatar. Please feel free to use the sig and avatar between now and our event, to promote it around the forum. And please thank starlover for creating this great art for us.

And if you want to download and email the invitation to shippers you know who don't hang out at Gateworld as much as they used to...please do. I even sent the one for Shipsgiving to some shippers in a Facebook message, in order to reach them!

It’s 11 Days to Shipmas
Look What I Received

Sam: Dr. Lee, what is going on here?


Dr. Lee: Well, you know I was just trying to put together a little Shipmas present, but things didn’t exactly go as planned.


Sam: What were you trying to do?


Dr. Lee: Oh well it’s really cool actually. You see, I remembered General O’Neill once expressed some regret that there was only one of you.


Sam: Are you talking about when my replicator double first showed up?


Dr. Lee: Exactly!


Sam: So you decided to clone me as a Shipmas present for General O’Neill?!


Dr. Lee: No, no. The clones weren’t a part of my original idea. My plan was to use the Asgard holographic technology to create a realistic 3D image of you. I thought that would be way better than anything those GimPS on the art thread could come up with.


Sam: What happened?


Dr. Lee: Yeah, I’m not quite sure. Somehow I got the holographic program and the cloning program from the Asgard computer core mixed up and it just kept spitting out copies of . . . a . . . well . . .


Dr. Lee: Anyway, I did get it shut off. Do you think General O’Neill is going to be upset?


Sam: For this?!


Sam: Probably not.

Dr. Lee: I know, I know. But I really think it was a good idea in theory. It just lacked something in the execution. Do you think I could blame my muse?


Sam: That’s not what I was getting at.


Dr. Lee: What? Did I miss something else?


Sam: You could say that.


Sam: You made all these clones of me for General O’Neill and you couldn’t make just one Jack O’Neill clone for me?


Young Jack: Hey, what am I Carter, chopped liver?


Jack: Face it, nothing beats the original.


Robot Jack: Oh I don’t think so flyboy! We all know she likes me best.


Jack: Yeah, you wish gear head!


Young Jack: Just remember old man, she thinks I’m cute!
