Purple, Kas... if you want to "vote" for the Saturns, you have to join the "Academy" and PAY for said membership. If you live in So Cal, like me, then there are two "levels" of membership: one which only allows you to vote and see special movie screenings (all in LA
) and one which allows you and a friend to attend the Saturn Awards dinner as well as vote and get the movie screenings. The first level was like $100 back then and the secon was $400, so I just went for it and did the second one. Haven't "joined" the Academy since then (been traveling and can't afford stuff like this anymore), so the only way I can see Ben at the Saturns is to drive up to LA and do the "paparazzi" thing on the red carpet. 
So, see? I'm not all that special.
