Actually that's not quite right. Every year, the California Scapers get a new shirt and they give one to Ben, at least that's what I've observed, but I could be wrong. And I'm assuming they include him in their group because he lives in California and would thus be a California Scaper. But from my observations, they give him one every year, which he wears at the breakfast, and then they get a picture of their whole group with Ben. (At least that's what I saw last year when I was in line behind them for the photo ops.)

So after Ben ran around the room giving everyone a chance to take a closer picture of him, he went up to the table which had California Scapers at it, I believe, and took off his hockey jersey for the CA Scapers bowling shirt. He was a lot of fun.

Isn't he wonderful? The way he sees the funny and loves to join in with everything! He's a rare commodity allright... the way he just relates and loves interacting with everyone.

But hey, we would NEVER do anything like that! We like to have a bit of playful fun and that's all. But I guess, someone - somewhere probably would, so it's best for them to be a little careful. Isn't that the sad part of being in the public eye?

Oh, and Francesca dated Chris Ecclestone, the new/now EX Dr Who (at least once ) before she and Ben were an item. He used to attend the same drama school in London.

Ben, charming the room full of ladies.....
he sat next to me at the breakfast...oh my!...well, he is really just the sweetest man, father and husband you would expect him to be. He is enjoying the hiatus now, from SG1, being a dad, carpooling, PTA, involved in school and the kids sporting activites...and cooking! I asked him if he aslo cleans...he replied..."NO". grinning as he spoke. then it was time for him to charm the next table. SIGH.....I am really glad I was able to go, it was my first farscape con ever.

Gushing Ben thunker!! That would totally be me too! I am happy for you and wishing it were me Did Fran say how his cooking was? He is a real man...he doesn't clean, what's new? I love that he is a great dad too!
