I was thinking about Teryl today at work... (I work in a bookstore on saturdays). For some reason I realised that when someone makes a really big purchase, I automatically read out the price with an extra friendly smile as if that would soften the blow...

Watched Lockdown tonight and I enjoyed it except for the scenes with Dr. Brightman. I kept thinking if only Janet were here to punch things up a bit... Anyway, I don't think they should bother with medical crisises on SG1 anymore since no other doctor compares to Janet Fraiser.Comment

Oh squee.
After avoiding the dress up days all year (at our high school, we don't have to wear uniform for the final year so we have theme days), but thursday is our last day so there has been a theme day each day this week, apart from thursday. I avoided toga day yesterday and pajama day today, but today my friends talked me into doing the fantasy job/what you want to be when you grow up thing tomorrow.
At such short notice, I can't do much. I though about buying some vulcan/hobbit/elf ears. Don't have time to get hold of some BDUs and make an SG-1 patch... But then my friend (Space on GW) suggested I go as our good friend, our favorite Napoleonic Powermonger.
Squee! I have *borrowed* a lab coat from the science department and the nurse that Space babysits for has lent me a stethoscope. I will wear ridiculous shoes, a navy blue skirt, a pale blue blouse (old school uniform) and make a little blue tie thing... Now all I need is a big honkin' needle...
Most people will just think I'm any old doc, so I can be a subtle geek for once.
Yay! I'm going to insist on people calling me Doctor Fraiser
