If you count standing in line for autographs and getting about 5 seconds to say hello while they sign... then yes. I've gone to Chicago's Stargate convention 3 years now. Two of the four flyboys were there (Joe and Ben)

That is rather cool to have happen in your home town.

I have seen a few famous people when we lived in California... but that isn't really meeting them either.
