I liked "Prophecy" soooo much I'm looking forward to watching Jonas again! *wants to give poor sufferin' Jonas a hug* Then I'll listen to the audio commentary.

You will note that I have seen this BEFORE "Metamorphosis" so I'm a bit confused, but it's all good! SQUEEEEs for Jonas Whump.

I don't know why they assess like that. We take the 8 bestunits over the last two years, and then the best unit from the first is halved and added to the mix. Trouble is, unlike many students I actually had quite a good first year... Mostly middling-to-high 2:1s for me. I'm now panicking over whether they're let me do an MA in Classical Reception, which everyone else thinks is silly but I can't help thinking that I've failed- even though most people will only see someone who has a (hopefully) 2:1 from one of the UK's most respected institutions. And yet I still panic...

And have finally bitten the bullet and ordered 'Killer Bud'. Probably have to wait about a month for it, but such is the way of Amazon Marketplace

Our first year didn't even count, apart from to avoid getting thrown off the course. It was lucky for me the second year counted for so little, because we were grouped by the course for our film projects and I was stuck with a bunch of the most useless people on the course.

I'm sure you'll be fine. You are probably your greatest critic. You think something isn't good, and get surprised by the high marks you end up getting. Me, I had a course plotted for a 2:2 (dissertation not good), but my final film (which I thought was so-so) got a first, and bumped me up.

I always do it. In year 9 we were stood in line to go into assembly for SATs presentations. I was despondent, as despite having taken the advanced English paper I was *convinced* that I had done so badly that I would get about a 6, and was wondering why my teacher found this so amusing. Of course I then had to get up in front of the whole bloody year because I was one of only a few people who'd got the highest grade and the only girl. Although in this case I'm having an essay on law in a trilogy of tragic plays being marked by Professor Carey- who specialises in tragedy and law, and is one of this country top guys on the latter. Eeep. He's not a harsh marker, but he's a very thoughtful man and likes to see clear, deep, multi-faceted arguments like he would produce- which I'm slightly in awe of...

Very pleased to hear that you're enjoyed what you're seen. You're seen the main eps of his- 'Forsaken' is fun for his comment to Jack (also some of the camerawork is interesting in places); 'Prometheus' for the ice-cream and how interesting it is contrast his reaction at the end with what Daniel would have done; 'Nightwalkers' is also good and one of my favourite ever team eps.

UCL= University College London. So that kinda answers the question Only five minutes from the British Museum, which is handy if you live in the Greek and Latin department...

An archaeology essay in for the 27th April, first exam on the 30th April, last on the 21st May. Fun, fun, fun

I have no clue as to why Netflix is sending these DVDs like they are....but at least I'm getting the correct season etc. so I"m not complaining!

That "Changeling" episode where Jonas is the probie in the firehouse and has on that apron.......ROFL!! Too damn cute! All the episodes I've seen so far have been very enjoyable though. I'm looking forward to "Metamorphosis" too.

It is Unnatural Selection with the ice cream and the moral grey area. And the sexy black BDUs.

That was the first S6 ep I saw. A friend of mine introduced me to Gate and brought the recorded tape back from home to halls after Christmas. Its a great moment in what I think is one the best eps in the show's history 'Metamorphosis' is pretty good. Interesting set-up, the return of an old baddie, and some really purdy lighting Commentary during Jonas' scene between the writer and DeLuise with the baddie is quite funny. Unfortunately, as you're seen tonight, Met sets up a plot thread that they then left, or more shunted it onto other characters...

I thought those had been seen. Ooh, in for a treat then Glorious is the right word- though I'm not sure that our reaction is what the director had in mind, unless there is something that crew ain't telling us...
