Yay! Jonas and Daniel. If I had three SG-1 wishes, one of them would be that they knew that MS was leaving a couple of years in advance and that Skiffy would take them on, and therefore Jonas' planet was introduced circa S4, allowing him some wonderful Daniel interaction and meaning that when MS decided to take a break, there was none of this 'new guy' and 'killer' nonsense; or even that the renewed interest through Jonas in the archaeological side of things and therefore his character might have swayed his choice, and then even the die-hards would be happy, and Jonas, Daniel and the rest of SG-1 would eat jello and skip through fields (when not being chased by Jaffa that O'Neill had royally p***ed off). But no...they had to introduce him in the ep where Daniel ascends and then make him look like a coward. Way to go, TPTB
