I found a link to a photo gallery on the Tok'ra resistance cosplay groups webpage (the link to that has been posted here before, I believe).

They have a LOT of pictures of various props/tech that the Tok'ra use, if anyone want to make some themselves. I still consider making a zat'nik'tel. Jalnor - did you get one made?

Those are nice pics, but I have no idea how to make any of the props. Though I would love to have both a Tok'ra uniform, a hand device, and a zat. And maybe a healing device and some crystals. It looks nice. I would also like to have something like the tunnel crystals on my walls, but I don't know how to do that. I tried painting them on paper, but it doesn't look right. Possibly I need something to give it texture and structure?

Actually, I know just the thing... I've been building the website for a company about here that uses it: Creative Rock UK. I keep thinking how it would do things like that well... and it's probably the sort of stuff they actually use for a lot of the stonework in Stargate.

Hi Jalnor! Long time!

I looked at the webpage, and it does look like it could be used for tunnel crystals. However, decorative concrete doesn't seem like something a person could buy and use themselves - or is it? I couldn't afford a contractor to make tunnel crystals for me - if I could even find one near me.

Do you know where/if decorative concrete can be bought?

No idea where to buy it, but it probably wouldn't be easy to work without the tools. Took my uncle a couple of days to do up his garden wall (that was his self-training, product testing and handy advertising all in one LOL) If you like, I can ask what sort of prices you could expect to pay... I know of at least one other company that uses the stuff, so you wouldn't need to be hiring him to travel all that way ;-)

Also, if any of you have Halo 3, I've been working on some Stargate-based ideas... got a Dakara map in beta at the moment and I'd like to do a Tok'ra-themed one :-D

I would certainly like to know of a place to get the stuff. Yeah, paying for having your uncle travelling to Denmark would already be way beyond my budget - even before he started making anything for me I need a better paying job!

I don't play Halo - my computer is kinda old, so I can't really play any of the newer games - at least not if they have more than a basic graphics demand. My graphics card is only 128MB.

Just notised that voting has started in the Bluemoon awads. It is open until April 15th - and theres plenty of stories with Tok'ra in them!

Just checked it out (and voted). I knew all but one or two of the stories already, but many of them are good. I actually had problems chosing which to vote for several places! I'm so happy that there are Tok'ra stories in the awards

Anyone knows when the SG awards open for voting? I know there should be some Tok'ra-related banners in it this year

I don't think SG-awards are open yet. I'll make sure to check them out when they do. We need to encourage Tok'ra fic and art!

Well, they have 'error-404' on their site right now, so perhaps they are working on getting ready for voting?

Perhaps - I'm just happy someone actually makes Tok'ra smilies or anything Tok'ra related. There seems to be even less interest in doing that now than ever - I see very few new fics. Probably because it's been a long time since we heard about the Tok'ra (same for the Goa'uld, but they were more prominent during more of the show).

but they are no where near as good as the one nebulan made.
