I agree - didn't they also give different times for the rebellion on Earth? Either in two different episodes, or in the episodes compared to the movie.

Yeah, they've been fairly inconsistent with their timelineyness, but I think the implication is that they've wandered back to Earth from time to time by ship for one settlement or another. Probably without Ra knowing and, at least later, without them even being sure it was the Tau'ri - looking at Ba'al talking in Continuum about it being a world lost to them and he had to give the other Goa'uld the address. Suggests they didn't even keep it in their databases.

I agree - however, the Tok'ra seem to have known about the Tau'ri and that it was them who killed Ra? Did they not say so in Tok'ra I&II? Could they have had an operative on Abydos? They certainly knew about the planet, as Martouf said something about Rosha having hair the colour of the sands of Abydos. Unless that was a saying? Sounded like he had been there?

I think it's more likely there was an inside man on Ra's mothership at the time - or Ra had communicated with another base about the situation and the Tok'ra had overheard it.
Either way, they put 2+2 together when Ra's mothership dropped off their galactic chart But yeah, they obviously had some experience of Abydos, it's been the subject of a few guessworks.

Yes, they were the good guys, although SG-1 didn't always approve of what they did.

Definitively the good guys! They've been fighting a just cause for the good of the Galaxy for many many centuries. But the SGC don't always understand them - and especially not the fact that as an illegal resistance they need to keep much of what they do a secret, even to their allies.

We learn in some episode or other that the symbiotes need special environment to survive outside a host - not just being in water, they need a weak current, and other stuff not specified (presumably also nourishment, but I wouldn't qualify that as 'special environment requirements'). This seems to be the case if they have either been in a host or in a Jaffa, but not if they have never been either (I think they say). We also see both those on their home world and Egerias's kids swimming around in what seems to be normal water.

So, what happens to them after they have been in a host? Perhaps they don't just change the hosts body chemistry (we know they do this - Sam is, among other things, way more resistant to drugs etc.), but change themselves as well, so as to function as well in their environment as possible? At the cost of not being able to live outside a host again.

Sounds likely - they expect to spend the rest of their (very long...10000+) years in a host, so it makes sense to optimize to being there if they are able to, even if it means they can't go back to the lake - why would they even want to? Must be incredibly frustrating to swim around in a lake unable to do much else, when you are sentient and have the knowledge for a technological civilization - you just need hands etc. and the ability to walk on land. My guess is they want to stay in hosts or die.
