I just realised one of the first Facebook users to become a fan of the Tok'ra when I put up the page is actually one of the Tok'ra from that fan film...

You can buy official zats, but they're damned expensive and limited edition. Sadly.

I'm planning to try. Mine will be spring-loaded to open on command, with the components of an LED torch in it. No sound, but I'll be able to get the lighting effect in low light! I'm thinking a blue LED and two white.

Thanks for your comments! I've had a couple people comment saying that they liked this view of the Tok'ra better than the one in the show, so I think my work is done. Bwahahahaha... But yes, Jolinar is awesome, and I love writing Tok'ra scientists—glad you liked them too.

Yes, you write the Tok'ra more as they are described in the first seasons we see them - and as I imagine they were meant to be. I much prefer that as well. It's really nice to read many more details about the Tok'ra than what we got on the show - and to hear about their daily life
