Wow. It has been awhile since I have posted here. I thought I would let everyone know that Malkshur's Temple has been updated to chapter 8 (nine counting the prologue) as of 06-02-10.

Summary: Critically injured during the Battle of Antarctica, Cameron Mitchell faces spending the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Sam Carter, his oldest friend and host to Jolinar of Malkshur, gives him another choice: become a Tok'ra host. He takes a chance and accepts. Now he must adapt to sharing his body with another person, even while trying to make a place for himself at Stargate Command.

The Tok'ra resistance yahoogroups mailinglist have kicked off this year's contest (fic writing). Go join if you wanna try your hand at writing Tok'ra fic for a contest!

This is this years plot bunnies (grabbed directly from their database, so any spelling errors or comments or opinions or anything is from the person originally writing the bunny...listing of people at first is any required people that has to be in the fic):

Spoiler:

1) Sam, Jolinar, Janet, Martouf/Lantash, Selmak/Jacob, any other Tokra, Jack, Mckay. Daniel, Tealc, Shepherd, Teyla, Ronon,Weir, Keller, SGC and SGA ect.... A what if story!! Has to have action, drama, romance, angst, and humor!!! What if.... when Sam took over for Elizabeth, Sam was exploring with Mckay, and who ever, a part of Alantis that they had just now were able to get to. What if... there was a machine and/or device that (for what ever reason) regenerated(Brought )Jolinar back to life but Sam and the members of the SGA didn't say anything to the SGC at first 'til the members of the SG1, or someone or more of the Tokra, came to visit them. How would they handle that? Would they be suspious and put Sam in a cell or would they beleive her. OR... would the members of the SGA keep the Tokra away from Sam until they could figure out what to do? I would like to see Janet involved in the story. Maybe romanticaly involved with Carson. Now wouldn't that be a cute couple? HEE! HEE!

2) Carter, and crew from Atlantis, one or two of the members of the original SG1 team Everything up to Moebus. It's the eve of Jack's and Sam's wedding when earth is attacked. A new enemy or an old foe from the past comes to earth and conquers it. Yes, I know, Jack and Sam! Some of you do not like that, but in all reality and going with the theme of the show, the ONLY way Sam would be completely 'with' any one is if Jack was gone. The enemy can not be the Ori. They are already conqured. While on Atlantis Sam finds out that she is four weeks pregnant and with the medical equipment there they find out that she is having twins. Teyla (whose people have dissapeard; taken by Todd) is also pregnant. Jack stays behind to destroy the SGC. Very few families of the SGC make it to the mountian on time but most are beamed up by the Hammond, the Daedalus and the Aollo as well as by the Tokra (who happened to be coming for Sam and Jack's wedding) and the Asgard. Jacob/Selmak are alive, as is Malek, and Janet, who survived being shot on P3X-666. Janet is saved by taking a Tokra symbiote who happenes to be a queen that only a few others knew about and he first batch of children are ready to take hosts with a few being queens. She is the mate to Selmak. But Janet has been living at the SGC to be close to Cassie and to keep treat the SGC crew them with the healing device now that she is able to. The pairings are up to the writer. Suggested couples could be Weir/ Shep, Weir/ Daniel, Sam/Shep, Sam/Ronon? maybe, Carson/Weir, Carson/Sam?, Cadwell/Weir, Cadwell/Sam, and/or Teyla/Daniel, as well as maybe Malek/Sam, Malek/Jennfier Keller, Mackay/Katie, Mackay'Keller, or even Mackay/Sam. Do want a lot of interaction with both shows cast, Weir forms new teams mixing them up with the SGC crew making them all six to eight people on a team. They also end up exploring more of Atlanis to try and find a way to defeat the wraith and to find more room for the new people. As they are searching the rest of Atlantis they come across an old medical research lab where they find out that Egria was there for help in finding a way for queens to have children without them being Harcesis because one of her hosts was always wishing she could have one of her own and the Torkra also saw this as a way to have hosts at the ready if they were needed. Egria left after giving her request for help but she never returned. The only one to know of this plan was Jolinar. The Altanian scientist did find a way. as for gener: lots of agnsts, drama, action, adventure, romance and of course humor.

3) Sam and the rest of SG1 plus Janet, Selmak/Jacob and Martouf/Lantash, Malek ect..... Death Knell remake! What if Sam managed to escape by hijacking a glider that had landed but only managed to crash on another planet that had a gate. Now you could go in so many different directions. One: Sam gates to another reality. Two: Is stuck there because the DHD is broken. Three; Happens to be Tok'ra secret planet. Four: Planet that JUST so happens to have symbioets and Sam has to take one because she is dieing and it happens to be one of many Tok'ra queens. Then of course depending which story line you pick up, well, then you could take it anywhere!!!!

4) Any What do tok'ra do when "off duty"/typical day I've read a wonderful humerous version of this, so make it serious

5) Sam Carter, canon Tok'ra In the fics I have read Sam Carter is always blended with one of the following tok'ra: Jolinar, Selmak, Lantash, Egeria, Garshaw or an OC. So what if she was blended with another canon tok'ra eg, Aldwin, Malek, Kanan, Anise, Ren'al etc?

6) Sam Carter, Daniel Jackson & Author's choice What if....The episode 'RISING' of Stargate Atlantis, Sam was sent as the leader of Atlantis or the second of command of Atlantis with Weir as the leader AND/OR Sam is the leader of one of the teams, maybe SGA2 (don't want to take anything away from the original members). Just an idea that has so many possiblities and outcomes! Any pairings!!! Has to have angst, adventure, romance and humor!!

7) SG-1 goes to an alternative universe where the tok'ra don't exist show them how bad things would be without the tok'ra

8) Janet (she never died) Malek, Martouf, all of SG1 and Atlanis crew. What if, while Sam's head of Alantis, two or more of the people there where turned into kids and Sam & John had to raise them but had to stay there so their famlies and the NID and/or Trust didn't find out. Or, that could be the reason Sam had to take over Atlantis. Maybe while there with SG1 and Janet, and one, or two, of the SG1 team as well as one, or two, of the SGA1 team gets turned into babies/kids! The Malek, Martouf and Jacob come to help but are unable to. So now Sam and John have to raise a few members of their teams. The pairing is arthors choice but of course heavy involement with Tokra and blendings of symbiotes with Sam and john being host in order to live long enough to rasie the kids..

9) rosha, Martouf/Lantash, Sam, any Tok'ra or SG1 Rosha is still alive. She has been brainwashed in to believing that Sam murdered Jolinar, and is endangering the Tok'ra She seeks her revenge.

10) Selmak/jake a love story that involves Selmak as well as jake

11) Sam, Teal'c, Daniel, Janet, Jack, Martouf/Lantash, Jacob/Selmak, Malek ect..... Sam, Teal'c and Daniel leave their reallity, which is ours, and gose to another after every one and everything they know is destoryed by the Ori. They come to the new reality to find that they were just killed by Ba'al. This new reality dosen't know about Alantis (they haven't found it yet) or Anubis and the Repicators or the Ori. Any pairing or pairings you want!
