Daniel Jackson Discussion and Appreciation

And we are back to deep instead of shallow!! Don't get me wrong, I think it's a good thing, can't keep a Daniel fan 'down.'

I have a question, do we ever get to see what kind of vehicle Daniel drives? Jack has his truck, and Sam has her motorcycle....

Shelly over at jackslittleplace.com says it is a 1950's Willy's Jeepster. Apparently it made an appearance in Lost City 1 when the team gathered at Jack's house. There is a picture with it in the background on her site, but I can't remember what section it is under.

Well, any chance to see our favorite archeologist (even in a different role) is welcomed. Too bad it isn't being shown here in the states. I'll have to keep my eye out for it.

So I'm just suggesting that many would consider that Daniel's actions [in Meridian] were crazy. (Yes, I know that is Daniel's nature to perform such an act. He is very self-sacrificing.)

Although, all the other 'crazy Daniel' eps - Brocca Divide, Legacy, Need - featured Daniel acting against his own nature, and without any control over his actions. Being less *Daniel* and more Something Else.

I agree with you that it was in Daniel's nature, but I think that makes Meridian *more* Danielish than many other eps (eg Desperate Measures or Avenger) where his part is Generic Additional Character, so I couldn't include it in my list of Crazy Daniel, cos almost by definition Daniel is in his right mind throughout.

Is it too late for me to jump on the shallow band wagon!! Hope I didn't miss it! I agree he looked sexy sexy sexy in Beneath the Surface!! BUT, I cannot stop staring at him in that servant costume in Summit.. Mmm Mmm Mmm! I can tell you this, if he were my servant, he would be doing a lot more than fetching tea for me!!

I agree. And after looking at all the other season 5 episodes, I can't really say there is a good 'crazy Daniel' episode that season. Maybe they will make up for it in season 8 with two. I have to admit, I think MS really shows his acting abilities in those types of episodes because they really expand the character out of the norm.

So we have a crazy Daniel episode for all the other seasons (except for 6 of course) identified now?
