Cliff is indeed a wonderful man. I am exhausted after a flight I almost missed due to my error in the time of the flight. But I promise to post tomorrow.

Okay, first, pictures!!!!

Sunday- Aside from the fire (yes it was an actual fire in a room on the second floor) Things were pretty cool. The fire alarms went off three times! Apparently, the fire kept sneaking back in - convention crasher! The alarms went off at 6:00AM and everybody raced out of the building, at 8:30, and everyone raced out of the building again, then at 9:30 when everyone said, the heck with this! And stayed in their rooms. Except Cliff who said he liked the idea of living, and hurried down the stairs from the twelfth floor 3 times! We have no idea what actually happened, because when we asked, the hotel didn't know either. Some enterprising young guy made some buttons that said, "I survived the Polaris Inferno". Look for those to show up on Ebay.
Cliff did a second panel on Sunday, with my friend, author Kelly J. Compeau who has an agreement with Cliff to use his image for her character, Kyle Raines who is "morally ambiguous" (Cliff's Words). Cliff was doing such a good job at helping Kelly talk about her Graphic Novel, that he could have been Jay Leno. I commented on that at the mic and Cliff told us a story about when he had first arrived in L.A and was staying at a hotel that a lot of actors stay at when they first arrive, Jay Leno, as part his show, went knocking on doors to talk to the actors. Cliff said he was lucky that he was in his shorts when Jay knocked on his door. He opened it and there was Leno wanting to interview him. I would love to see that clip. We should look for it on you tube.
Ashtoreth, if you can job my memory about some of the other things Cliff talked about, I'll be glad to comment on them. As I remember more details, I'll share them with you guys.Comment

Well, GG, when I told Cliff that I needed to give him a bunch of hugs starting alphabetically, that's when he started backing away and looking for security. No, I did tell him I was hugging him for his entourage of female fans. He grinned at that.Comment

I took so many pictures of Cliff at Polaris on Saturday and Sunday! Some of them turned out great and some of them are a little on the blurry side. Cliff is such a great guy and every time I have had the pleasure of meeting him something he says or does just helps to reinforce that fact. On Sunday a friend of mine asked Cliff a question that had to do with the recent death of Don S. Davis. Cliff teared up and it actually took him a couple of minutes to pull himself back together and then he said he still couldn't answer the question because it was to soon and much too difficult. It was very touching to see how deeply the death of a friend and colleague had affected Cliff. I always knew that Cliff was a class act and he proved it again this weekend in Toronto!
