God, I hope that doesn't mean that AT3 is going to be the next weekend. School doesn't let out until midJune. I can just see trying to worm my way out of the end of the school year to go to a science fiction convention.

Edit: OK, I admit to being an idiot and not realizing that we're talking about two different years. Can you tell that I'm really looking forward to AT3?

Wow. I just looked at the calendar for the school I am trying to get a job at. Next year, school runs to June! FCOL! JUNE!?! That has never happened! I would be so mad if I couldn't go because of school! More sad, really. July...that would be nice. *keeps fingers crossed*

I was doing some caps today and came across something that reminded me of a discussion a few days ago… who, if anyone, has ever called Sam “Sammie”. I think Jacob was the only one people agreed was a possibility. So, imagine my surprise when the following popped up while I was doing the caps. Even so, it’s still in the family since I assume Urgo pilftered "Sammie" from her mind.

Sam. Sammie. You like me. I remind you of your Uncle Irving.
(He makes a popping noise)

I commented on the LJ about Jacob never calling Adult Sam Sammie. He checked his transcripts (as Regan X did.. Thanks!) and confirmed - the only person who EVER calls Sam, even kid-Sam, Sammie is Urgo. But since when he is discussing her Uncle, maybe it got assumed that was a childhood nickname. He was grateful, though, because it does prove his point about fanon.

So, thanks to all of you!

I was highly amused by the fact that their 'experts' were the writers of 'Reading Stargate'... Yeah, I really wouldn't bother. Watch one of the shows own clip shows, they're more entertaining.
