            I've never been carded. When I was 12, I was 5' 8", with a 36c bust, and looked 20.

When I was in High School, my Mom always took my brother & me up to Tahoe (or Reno or Vegas) to the casinos for the weekend (Mom was an addicted gambler). I was able to gamble AND get served comp alcoholic drinks and not get carded.

Now ... 50 years later, everyone tells me I don't look my age! But not young enough that I've been carded. LOL!

Ha, somehow my question ran away from AT's twitter feed!
It was Bonus Q #1 but the answer was pretty self-explanatory to what the question was:

              @amandatapping Bonus Q #1) @Mrs2Shy - How are you enjoying your hiatus?
And as an EP do you even get a hiatus to speak of?

But the tweet does show up on my @ page. *shakes head* Twitter truly has a mind of it's own

Tapping Tuesdays are truly a little treat for us. And I would doubt AT would do them if she didn't enjoy doing them too.

And speaking of Sanctuary blu-rays. As far as we know now here in Europe won't get a blu-ray release... But Australia got, which is the same blu-ray region as Europe. So I'll try to keep my cool a little while longer in case something changes up here, otherwise I have to put my masterful plan in motion to get a hold of them goodies from down under.

We had a "telly whacker". When the screen would go funny we'd jump up and bash the side of the telly with the whacker and it would right itself. That was back when hubby and I first started out. We swapped a lawn mower for an old telly. The kids thought the telly whacker was fun...then we got a new tv..no more wacking...took away the fun of watching telly with a whacker in hand instead of a remote!
Or Sanctuary. Or Stuck. Or Proof Positive. Or her Millenium and X-Files eps. So much Amanda.
Still have not yet seen Proof Positive...and is unlikely to. I don't think it will ever air here in Oz. I'd like to know when Dancing Trees is coming out on dvd...that I would love to see.

I think the worst experience for me wasn't being carded at the club but being mistaken for a child at a mothers day lunch when I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with my son. I was 25 years old at the time. I was not impressed. I think I now understand the weird looks I used to get when I was out with the kids...though I'm not sure what the weird looks could be about now.

Loved TappingTuesday! Loved to hear that she was going camping...in tents! That was one of my questions on my "Questions to ask Amanda" list! Gotta scratch that one of now.
Camping is awesome fun. Especially with the family. That's why Easter is my favourite holiday of the year. We all go camping together...my family, my brothers and their families, my cousin and his family, and my auntie and uncle. My sister in law came with us this year but after a huge kerfuffle at the last family shindig, she and her family have made an effort to avoid family gatherings. I miss my nieces and nephews now whom I don't get to see.
Here's a few pics from our camping trips at Easter and Walhalla - spoilered so as to not bore anyone with my OT-ness.

Awesome pics Chelle! I love the beer keg idea, too. I think I'll need to try that out for the heck of it if I can find someone who can figure out how to assemble it. Very cool!

I have to agree with you there..and Amanda. Some of my best memories and experiences, for that matter, were of camping. I can't remember a time as a kid my folks weren't throwing us into our car and heading out into the wild. For a family with four kids, it was the cheapest way to go on a family vacation and I can't remember a time we ever really complained. Our longest trip took us out west to Arizona, Texas, Colorado, etc.. where the temps were unbearable, especially riding without A.C. I still remember my crayons melting in the heat.

I still go camping today, though we mostly just head up to Mich, Wisconsin or Minnesota with friends where there's plenty of pine trees, lakes and solitude (ie lots of shade and water for when less clothes is a plus). Awesome times.

Like I said elsewhere, today I got up early to record Amanda's part on the show, thinking I had the house to myself, and I actually got it all, but wasn't happy with it, so I started doing it again, and my dad came home. So I'll try again tomorrow.

                            Spoiler:

This was the fire on the first morning with the hot water system all set up - note the beer keg with the funnel at the top - you pour cold river water in the top and it comes out hot at the bottom - instant hot water every time we needed it!

The water slide which pretty much bathed the kids as they played.

No tents required - just roll out the swag and sleep on the dried up lake bed....sweeeeet!!

Ain't no river wide enough...we just drove thru and set up a picnic on an island in the middle of the river before heading up to Walhalla!

Wow, thanks for the wonderful pics, Chelle.

Btw, on the Helen Magnus/Amanda Tapping Thunk Thread, there's a discussion on whether or not Helen has a tattoo. What do y'all think?

For me, SG1 and Sam will always be first, with Helen and Sanctuary a very close second.
