Hi all! I know this is sort of off topic. I had an idea for a fanfic while flying home (I was obviously not the pilot). It's a Sam centered fic and I need help with the basic procedure for flight take offs. Does anyone here know anything about planes and can help me? If so can you send me a PM.

Holy Moly these pictures are huge. LOL You might want to resize em a bit CG because they go over forum limits and they might bog down someone who isn't on a dsl line.

Oh, and CG - those images? They're huger than huge!!! My laptop used to have a nice neat 14" screen - then they popped up, and now it's more like 16"...

poor, chopingal... they weren't that big for me, so i don't know what happened... *shrugs and notices how cute clark kent is on smallville*

Congrats to all the posting milestones I have missed!!!

As for the Vala or Sam thing discussed earlier, I don't dislike Vala, but she is not a unique character. There are several like her out there, she's a slightly toned down Chiana. Sam on the other hand is pretty unique, to me anyway. She is tough and smart, yet not a girl being a 'guy'. There are other tough girls out there, but they seem to have a cynical, guarded part to them, and Sam doesn't. She's genuine, enthusiastic, vulnerable, and guileless too. I dearly miss Jack, but if Sam leaves the show for good, I'll never watch again.
