i think, as much as it might be fun at times to be recognized, i'm sure AT is perfectly happy to be pleasantly anonymous at times.

she, and a lot of the vancouver actors, seem to have a good balance. they are known among some areas, yet can go to the grocery store and don't have paparazzi following them around.

I'm sure it's a mixed blessing. I know she likes the cool and good stuff her fame has allowed her to do, liek sanctuary for kids, etc, but i'm sure there are also downsides.

vangroovy seems to be kinda protective of its actors instead of LA that seems to exploit them

I'm sure she enjoys her obscure notoriety for more reasons than herself. In Hollywood, children and spouses of actors are hounded by paparazzi to the point that everything they do is scrutinized under a microscope.

So this charming guy: Double-rapist-to-move-in-near-schools has just moved in next door to my best friend, Spacegirlnz. They will literally be sharing a fence. If you read the story, in NZ college means high school. This guy can see the gates of my old school from his house.

So this guy served a little more than 15 yrs for two rapes?? Crazy. I do hope the public tide of disapproval for his move, no matter if it's with family, will prevent this from happening. Or, at the very least, some kind of monitoring will be done on him..like 24/7???
